Passengers are set to benefit from two announcements made today by train operating company London Midland. The company announced it is ahead of its target, set by the Department for Transport, for recruiting and training new train drivers. The second announcement, a major coup for passengers, is that there will be 4,000 more peak-time seats per day in and out of London Euston next year.
